We are here on our honeymoon-- Hato Piñero is beautiful, peaceful, romantic and very educational--specially when your guide is Juan Carlos (or "JC" for short). JC's knowledge of animals and particular birds is incredible (he knows the names both in Spanish and English)--we have learned a lot and laughed a lot--PERFECT!!!... ...and for the second part of our stay we were treated to the company of Orlando, who shared with us all his experiences of life and his extensive knowledge of biology and evolution-- a real lesson in life! (not to mention lots of extra help in planning the rest of our holiday in Venezuela). Thank you...we'll be back!!

Me encanto desde todo punto de vista. Juan Carlos nos atendio perfectamente, y nos hizo conocer e interesar por la gran variedad de animales, pajaros, etc. Fue un placer personal y un orgullo de ser Venezolana y ver estas hermosas tierras que gracias a la conciencia y dedicacion de unos Venezolanos brinda una imagen de la Venezuela que quisiera ver al 100%. It was a wonderful weekend, full of experiences that make you feel you don't want it to end. It was an encounter with nature so strong that I'm sure I'll react differently for today onwards. I have just returned from a week at you ranch. I just want to let you know that I enjoyed my stay immensely! What a pleasant surprise to see such abundant wildlife, and yet stay in comfortable accommodations. My only suggestion is that you might want to increase the number of bird feeders out front, to attract more birds in the patio/entrance area. I will be back!
