Letters from our Guests:
...Let me start by telling you how much we appreciated the treatment that your staff gave us
while we were there and even more how much we were overwhelmed by the
birdlife we encountered. I have been birdwatching in Okavango in Botswana,
Kakado in Australia, Keoladeo in India, and in many other places, but I
believe that Hato Piñero beats them all. I only wish that we could have
stayed a couple of more days...

A marvelous place on this earth!

Orlando's (our guide) knowledge of all the wildlife brought mother earth to our

..."the hato experience was my idea of heaven. I love solitude, and now can escape into my memories
of this weekend when I need solitude amidst the hustle of the city... I actually saw more birds and
fauna at the hato than I did in the Peruvian amazon region. thanks again for an "experience of a
"Hato Piñero sigue siendo uno de los mejores destinos del mundo para aquellos que aman la
naturaleza... le hago extensivo mi agradecimiento al personal del hato por sus amables atenciones y
por contribuir a hacer del Hato Piñero un paraíso en la tierra del cual pueden sentirse orgullosos todos los venezolanos"
I have been here 3 times and each time has been wonderful. I'll be back again.

We are here on our honeymoon-- Hato Piñero is beautiful, peaceful, romantic and
very educational--specially when your guide is Juan Carlos (or "JC" for short). JC's
knowledge of animals and particular birds is incredible (he knows the names both in Spanish
and English)--we have learned a lot and laughed a lot--PERFECT!!!...
...and for the second part of our stay we were treated to the company of Orlando, who shared with us all his
experiences of life and his extensive knowledge of biology and evolution-- a real lesson
in life! (not to mention lots of extra help in planning the rest of our holiday in Venezuela).
Thank you...we'll be back!!

Felicitaciones!!
It was a wonderful weekend, full of experiences that make you feel you don't want it to end.
It was an encounter with nature so strong that I'm sure I'll react differently for today
onwards. Thanks to everyone: Simon, Gertrudis, the girls in the kitchen and "el unico Juan Carlos" and
Mario. It was fantastic.
The food was great, the guide was great, the place was great. We had a wonderful time. A place
always to be remembered!! Thank you for having us!!

We enjoyed all the trips, food and hospitality. the guide, Orlando, was brilliant with very good
English. So pleased the owners had the foresight to give so much of the Hato for conservation.
Will recommend it and try to come again in a different season.

We came to see and understand the Llanos--what a wonderful experience it has been--thanks to Orlando
and all who we have met at Hato Piñero. Continue to look after all your wonderful wildlife!
We shall always remember.
I have just returned from a week at you ranch. I just want to let you know
that I enjoyed my stay immensely! What a pleasant surprise to see such
abundant wildlife, and yet stay in comfortable accommodations... I will be back!
